Before your initial treatment, please: clean kitchen surfaces, stovetop, and inside cabinets; remove clutter from floors, counters, and under sinks; empty and clean under appliances (microwave, toaster, coffee maker); remove items from lower cabinets in kitchens and bathrooms where required; secure or remove pet food and water bowls; and vacate the premises during treatment until re-entry is confirmed safe by your technician. Proper preparation is essential German cockroaches thrive in unsanitary conditions, and skipping prep steps can significantly reduce treatment effectiveness.

The initial treatment is the most thorough and typically takes 60 to 90 minutes depending on the size of your home and severity of the infestation. Follow-up visits are shorter usually 30 to 45 minutes focused on inspecting bait placements, refreshing products as needed, and monitoring activity levels.

The German Roach Service Agreement includes one initial treatment plus two follow-up visits three total service visits. Follow-ups are scheduled approximately every two to three weeks after the initial treatment. The schedule may be adjusted based on infestation severity and product label restrictions.

If live German cockroaches are observed within 90 days after your final follow-up visit, Dade Pest Solutions will re-inspect and, if necessary, retreat at no additional charge. The guarantee applies only when the customer has followed all preparation and sanitation instructions provided by our technician. It does not extend beyond the 90-day period and may be voided by conditions outside our control such as re-introduction of infested items or unresolved structural issues. Customers who complete the German Roach program and then upgrade to the Residential Protection Program™ (RPP) receive a lifetime warranty on German cockroach treatment, subject to continued RPP enrollment and compliance with all preparation and sanitation requirements. The lifetime warranty is only available to customers who enroll in the RPP after completing the German Roach program it does not apply to the German Roach program alone.

Yes. We use EPA-registered products applied by FDACS-licensed technicians following strict safety protocols. Baits, insect growth regulators, and crack-and-crevice applications are targeted methods that minimize exposure to people and pets. Your technician will provide specific re-entry instructions after each visit. You may request material safety data sheets and pesticide labels at any time.

Some activity between visits is normal, especially in the first two weeks as baits take effect. If you observe significant activity, contact our office and we will assess whether an additional visit is warranted. Keeping up with sanitation removing food debris, fixing leaks, and reducing clutter is the most important thing you can do between visits to support the treatment.

Either party may cancel within 72 hours of the contract date without penalty. After that period, cancellation must be in writing. If you cancel after services have begun, you will be responsible for payment of services completed to that point. If the full fee was paid in advance, Dade Pest Solutions will refund the unused portion minus a cancellation fee.
